( A BETTER RIGHT BACK THAN IVANOVIC?)

1995-2000 (24 goals in 152 games)

- Purchased from Sheffield Wednesday in 1995 at the age of 28.

- A prolific and superb attacking Right Back (by Branislav Ivanovic)

  scored 24 goals for Chelsea from the Right Back position in 5 years (average 5 goals a season) !! and created many goals for his vision and creativity from the right.

- Key player when Chelsea won FA CUP 1997, LEAGUE CUP 1998, EUROPE CUP WINNERS CUP 1998



2) JODY MORRIS

(MIDFIELDER OF CHELSEA ACADEMY PRODUCT, CURRENT ASSISTANT MANAGER FOR LAMPARD)

1993-2003 (5 GOL IN 124 GAMES)

- joined the Chelsea academy at age 15 in 1993 and became the youngest player to appear for Chelsea at the EPL in 1996 at the age of 17 at 43.

- Chelsea Young Player of the Year 1996

- Was a Chelsea captain for a while when Dennis Wise was suspended.

- Lost his place in 1st squad when Chelsea were led by Claudio Ranieri following the presence of many world-class players like DiMatteo, Dennis Wise, Didier Deschamps and Emmanuel Petit during the early days of Abramovich



3) EDDIE NEWTON

(DEFENSIVE MID - ANOTHER ACADEMY PRODUCT)

1985 - 1999 (8 GOL, 165 GAMES)

- the product academy and become a  part of the 1st team

- played in the FA Cup 1994 Finals but made the mistake of conceding penalty

- part of the UEFA CUP WINNERS CUP 1995 semi-finals and the 1996 FA CUP Semi-Final squad

- will be etched in the memories of the fans as the scorer  of Chelsea's 2nd GOal during  victory at the 1997 FA CUP, and part of the UEFA CUP WINNERS CUP 1998 and LEAGUE CUP 1998 members

- but lost his place in 1st Eleven after Vialli lured Didier Deschamps

- Become Assistant Manager to Di Matteo at the greatest moment in Chelsea era during the triumph in the Champions League and FA CUP 2012



4) PAUL FURLONG

(STRIKER 1994-96)

(18 GOALS IN 85 MATCHES)

 - joined Chelsea in 1994, the club's record signing at that time was 2.3 mill pounds

 - lost his  Place after the arrival  of Ruud Gullit, Mark Hughes and Vialli.



5) Dmitri Kharine

CHELSEA MAIN CAREER 1992-1999 (146 GAMES)

- Purchased from CSKA Moscow in 1992 for 400K pounds

appeared in FA Cup 1994 season where chelsea qualified for Final, but lost in final,

and one of key performers during  1995 UEFA Cup Winner Cup where we qualified for the semi finals

- however, he lost the top GK position to Ed de Goey in his last 3 seasons



6) Steve Clark

  CHELSEA 's right back 1987 - 1998 (421 GAMES, 7 GOL)

- joined Chelsea in 1987 for 422k pounds from scotland club St Mirren

- part of the key players who won the 1997 FA CUP, 1998 LEAGUE CUP, and 1998 UEFA CUP WINNER CUP



7) Ruud gullit

LEGENDARY MIDFIELDER FOR  CHELSEA 1995 -1998 (49 GAMES + 9 GOL)

- Ballon d Or Winner 1987 and FIFA World Player of The years 1987 and 1989 join Chelsea at the age of 33 on a free transfer

- was initially used as a "sweeper role" by manager Glen Hoddle but failed to make an impact, before being given his natural position  as an Attacking mid, leading Chelsea to the FA Cup semi-final of the season.

- He was ranked 2nd in the Footballer Of The Year EPL of the season behind Eric Cantona

- Gullit says he's happiest and enjoyed his career at Chelsea, his expression ":" Every time I played for Chelsea, I thought, 'Nice game, beautiful stadium, great crowd, I'm playing well.' It was the only time I really had fun. "

8) John Spencer

STRIKER BERJERSEY NO,7 ( 103 GAMES + 36 GOL )

- Menyertai Chelsea dgn yuran 450K pound dari kelab Rangers pada 1992

- memacu chelsea ke Final FA Cup 1994

- top scorer kelab 1995 96 dengan 14 gol

- hilang posisi pemain utama kepada Vialli pada 1996 sebelum dijual pada QPR oleh Ruud Gullit



9) Mark Hughes

STRIKER TUA MASIH BERBISA PEMILIK JERSEY NO.8 ( 123 GAMES + 39 GOL )

- bekas manager ManCity ini menyertai Chelsea pada 1995 dgn harga 1 mill dari MU pada umur 32 tahun

- menjadi key player pada pghujung 90-an dengan gandingan berbisa dengan Zola

- match winner vs Lipop dan Wimbledon pada FA Cup 1997 dan menjadi tunjang kemenangan Chelsea pada Europe Club Winners Cup pada 1998 dan menang FA Cup 1997

- sayangnya beliau dijual pada 1998 sejurus selepas musim kemenangan Piala Cup Winners Cup tersebut kerana faktor usia ( sudah 35 tahun )



10) Gavin Peacock

MIDFIELDER NO.10 YG HILANG TEMPAT PADA DI MATTEO ( 103 GAME + 17 GOL )

- menyertai Chelsea dari Newcastle dgn harga 1.5 mill ,

- diingati kerana menjaringkan gol kemenangan HOME dan AWAY game vs MU pada musim tersebut ( 1-0 ) pada kedua2 perlawanan

- membantu Chelsea mara ke semi final Europe Cup Winners Cup pada 1995 dan semi final FA Cup 1996

- seperti yg dialami Juan Mata yg hilang tempat nya pada oscar , Peacock juga pernah hilang starting position beliau kepada new star ( roberto Di matteo ) yg ironinya memenangi CL utk chelsea sebagai manager.

8) John Spencer

 NO, 7 STRIKER  (103 GAMES + 36 GOL)

- Joined Chelsea on a £ 450K fee from the Rangers club in 1992

- drove chelsea to the 1994 FA Cup Final

- top club scorer in  1995 96 with 14 goals

- lost this starting position  to Vialli in 1996 before being sold to QPR by Ruud Gullit



9) Mark Hughes

OLD BUT GOLD STRIKER  (123 GAMES + 39 GOL)

- The former ManCity manager joined Chelsea in 1995 at a price of 1 mill from MU at age OF 32

- became a key player in the late 90s with electric partnership with Zola

- match winner vs Liverpool  and Wimbledon in the FA Cup 1997 and were the backbone of Chelsea's European Club Winners Cup in 1998 and the FA Cup 1997

- unfortunately he was sold in 1998 shortly after the Winners Cup Cup season due to age factors (already 35)



10) Gavin Peacock

MIDFIELDER NO.10 YES LOVES ON MATTEO (103 GAME + 17 GOL)

- joined Chelsea from Newcastle for 1.5 milliseconds,

- remembered for scoring HOME and AWAY game vs MU winning goals of the season (1-0) in both games

- helped Chelsea advance to the 1995 European Cup Winners Cup semi-finals and the 1996 FA Cup semi-finals

- just as Juan Mata lost his place in the oscar, Peacock also lost his starting position to a new star (roberto Di matteo) who ironically won CL for chelsea as manager.





11) Dennis Wise ( 445 games + 76 goals ) in 11 musim

MIDFIELD GENERAL AKA CAPTAIN MARVEL CHELSEA SEBELUM JOHN TERRY

- Menyertai dari Wimbledon dengan harga club-rekod 1.6 mill pada 1990 pada usia 24 tahun

- Gandingan mantap beliau dengan Vinnie Jones membolehkan Captain Marvel menjadi penjaring terbanyak kelab pada 1992 dengan 14 gol

- namun beliau hilang takhta Captain buat sementara pada 1995 berikutan insiden bergaduh dengan pemandu taxi

- menjadi Captain ketika Chelsea menang FA Cup final pada 1997 vs Boro , cross cantik beliau disudahkan oleh Frank Sinclair dan ketika menang Cup Winners Cup Final vs Stuttgart , hantaran cantik beliau disudahkan oleh Zola utk gol kemenangan

- Wise juga menjadi Captain tika Chelsea menang UEFA Super Cup vs Real Madrid  pada 1998

- namun beliau juga kurang disiplin dilayang 3 kali kad merah pada musim 1998 1999 tika mana Chelsea hanya kalah 3 kali sepanjang musim di liga dan layak ke Champions League UNTUK KALI PERTAMA DALAM SEJARAH CHELSEA 😭

- Wise juga captain Chelsea tika menang FA Cup pada 2000 dan FA Charity Shield vs MU pada 2000

- berikutan usia beliau sudah 35 tahun pada 2001, beliau dijual oleh manager Ranieri dengan harga 1.6 mill

- DENGAN KARIER CHELSEA SEPANJANG 11 TAHUN , beliau merupakan FRANK LAMPARD sebelum bermula era Abramovich
